Be Thou, O God, exalted high;

And as Thy Glory, the all-harmonizing Spirit -

Principle, Love, Truth, Mind, Soul, and Life

- fills the sky,

So let it be on earth displayed,

For Thou art here and now conveyed (to one-another).

We are the guests of God

When the border blurs between dreaming and reality
one becomes trapped into dreaming where nothing is real.
But oh, how to get untrapped?

In heavenly Love abiding,
No change our heart shall fear;
For safe is such confiding,
As nothing changes here.
The storm may roar without us,
Our heart may low be laid;
But God is round about us,
How can we be dismayed?

Wherever He may guide us,
No want shall turn us back;
Our Shepherd is beside us,
So, nothing can we lack.
His wisdom ever waketh,
His sight is never dim;
He knows the way He taketh,
And we will walk with Him.

Green pastures are before us,
Which yet we have not seen;
Bright skies will soon be o'er us,
Where darkest clouds have been.
Our hope we cannot measure,
Our path in life is free;
Our Father has our treasure,
And He does walk with 'we!'

Our God is Love, unchanging Love,
How could we ask for more?
Our prayer for Love's increase is vain;
It's infinite as before.
Ask not the Lord with breath of praise
For more than we accept;
The open fount is free to all,
God's promises are kept.

Our God is Mind, the perfect Mind,
Intelligence divine;
Shall mortal man ask Him to change
His infinite design?
Our heart that yearns for righteousness,
With longing unalloyed,
Is pure desire that is a prayer
That ne'er returneth void.

O loving Father, well we know
That words alone are vain,
That those who seek Thy will to do,
The true communion gain.
Then may our deeds, in Love's desire
With grace in intimacy express,
That we may know how Love divine
Forever waits to bless.

O Jesus, our dear Exemplar,
Thy works, now understood,
Reveal their full effulgence
In Love's sweet brotherhood.
Today Christ's precious Science
Thy healing power makes plain:
With joy may all obey thee
And cast out sin and pain.

The Christ, eternal manhood,
As God's own Son beloved,
A tender ever-presence
Within each heart is proved.
O God, our Father-Mother,
Thy name we see expressed
By man, who in Thy Science
Is perfect, holy, blessed.

O Science, God-sent message
To tired humanity,
Thou art Love's revelation
Of Truth that makes man free.
Thy kingdom, God, within us
Shows forth Love's sweet control:
Thus God's idea, man, rejoices,
Celebrating the reign of Soul.

Dear Lord and Father of us all,
Forgive our foolish ways;
Reclothe us in our rightful mind;
In purer lives Thy service find,
In deeper reverence, praise.

In simple trust like theirs who heard,
Beside the Syrian sea,
The gracious calling of the Lord,
Let us, like them, without a word
Rise up and follow thee.

Breathe through the pulses of desire
Thy coolness and Thy balm;
Let sense be dumb, let flesh retire;
Speak through the earthquake, wind and fire,
O still small voice of calm.

Drop Thy still dews of quietness,
Till all our strivings cease;
Take from us now the strain and stress,
And let our ordered lives express
The beauty of Thy peace.

The King of Love our Shepherd is,
Whose goodness faileth never;
We nothing lack, for we are His
And He is 'I or Us' forever.

Where streams of living water flow
Our ransomed soul He leadeth,
And where the verdant pastures grow,
With food celestial feedeth.

Perverse and foolish oft we strayed,
But yet in Love He sought us,
And on His shoulder gently laid,
And home, rejoicing, brought us.

And so through all the length of days
Love's goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise
Within Thy house forever.

Our God is Love, unchanging Love,
How could we ask for more?
Our prayer for Love's increase is vain;
It's infinite now as before.
Ask not the Lord with breath of praise
For more than we accept;
The open fount is free to all,
God's promises are kept.

Our God is Mind, the perfect Mind,
Intelligence divine;
Shall mortal man ask Him to change
His infinite design?
The heart that yearns for righteousness,
With longing unalloyed,
Is pure desire that is a prayer
That ne'er returneth void.

O loving Father, well we know
That words alone are vain,
That those who seek Thy will to do,
The true communion gain.
Then may our deeds, our love's desire
For growth in grace express,
That we may know how Love divine
Forever waits to bless.

Forever waits to bless.

From glory unto glory,
Be this our joyous song;
From glory unto glory,
'Tis Love that leads us on;
As wider yet and wider,
The rising splendors glow,
What wisdom is revealed to us,
What freedom we may know.

The fullness of `Love's` blessing
Encompasseth our way;
The fullness of `Love's` promise
Crowns every dawning day;
The fullness of `Love's` glory
Is shining from above,
While more and more we learn to know
The fullness of `Love's` love.

From glory unto glory,
What great things He hath done,
What wonders He hath shown us,
What triumphs Love hath won.
From glory unto glory,
From strength to strength we go,
While grace for grace abundantly
Doth from `Love's` fullness flow.

Oh Love, our Father, Soul in heaven;
Truth infinite, the giver of incorporeal bread;
Life’s kingdom is Spirit, unbounded in loving;
Not temptation, lack, pain, isolation - freedom IS.

Oh Father-Mother, Mind, all-harmonious;
Oh Grace - loving unfamished;
Living is gracious - Love ever present;
No disease, death, indifference - Spirit is Soul.

Oh Love, the hallowed name - the name of Life;
Love holds no debts, we loose our debtors;
Loving on earth, the rich manifest of heaven;
Principle is Love: power and glory - Us all-divine.

Oh Adorable, One;
Love, reflected in loving;
Heaven expressed, Love is supreme;
All power  IS - Life, Truth, Love - the infinite One .

Morning Prayer - Golden with Truth
a thought to begin with

God creates neither erring thought, mortal life, mutable truth, nor variable love.

Immortal and divine Mind presents the idea of God: first, in light; second, in reflection; third, in spiritual and immortal forms of beauty and goodness - Mind creates no element nor symbol of discord and decay.

The starting-point of divine Science is that God, Spirit, is All-in-all, and that there is no other might nor Mind, - that God is Love, and therefore He is divine Principle.

To grasp the reality and order of being in its Science, you must begin by reckoning God as the divine Principle of all that really is.

The precise form of God must be of small importance in comparison with the sublime question, What is infinite Mind or divine Love?

Life, Truth, and Love constitute the triply divine Principle, Love - a trinity in unity, three in one, - the same in essence, though multiform in office - the divine Principle of scientific being, the intelligent relation of God to man and the universe. (summary from p. 331, Divine Trinity)

God is natural good, and is represented only by the idea of goodness. Evil should be regarded as unnatural, because it is opposed to the nature of Spirit, God.

Spirit blesses man, but man cannot "tell whence it cometh." By it the sick are healed, the sorrowing are comforted, and the sinning are reformed. These are the effects of one universal God - the invisible good dwelling in eternal Science.

The three great verities of Spirit, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, - Spirit possessing all power, filling all space, constituting all Science, - contradict forever the belief that matter can be actual. These eternal verities reveal primeval existence as the radiant reality of God's creation, in which all that He has made is pronounced by His wisdom good.

Isaiah 63:16
16 Doubtless thou art our father,
though Abraham be ignorant of us, and
Israel acknowledge us not...

In divine Science, we have not as much authority for considering God masculine, as we have for considering Him feminine, for Love imparts the clearest idea of Deity.

The Mind or intelligence of production names the female gender last in the ascending order of creation. The intelligent individual idea, be it male or female, rising from the lesser to the greater, unfolds the infinitude of Love.

Love, the divine Principle, is the Father and Mother of the universe, including man.

(divine economics) Love for God and man is the true incentive in both healing and teaching. Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way. Right motives give pinions to thought, and strength and freedom to speech and action. Love is priestess at the altar of Truth.

(Spiritual Eucharist)
Our baptism is a purification from all error. Our church is
built on the divine Principle, Love. We can unite with this
church only as we are newborn of Spirit, as we reach the Life
which is Truth and the Truth which is Life by bringing forth the
fruits of Love, - casting out error and healing the sick. Our
Eucharist is spiritual communion with the one God. Our bread,
"which cometh down from heaven," is Truth. Our cup is the cross.
Our wine the inspiration of Love, the draught our Master drank and
commended to his followers.
