here: In 1895, Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, ordained the Bible, and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (the textbook of Christian Science) to be the pastor of all churches of Christ Scientists. In 1898 the Lesson Sermon became formalized with 26 standard topics, that remain today.
